As you may already know, REI has a wonderful selection of outdoor equipment. Most importantly to me, I'm at five separate individuals who worked there. They were all wonderfully kind, wonderfully responsive and I couldn't have asked for better customer service. Whoever is running this REI store should be commended and the people I met. I wish I knew their names to commend them as well.

Keith in the bike shop is the absolute MAN! He went above & beyond in making sure my bike was comfortable + functional - readjusted/rewrapped the handle bars since they came in wonky - fitted the seat to a perfect height - showed me all the ins and outs of how the Salsa journeyer operates - and was just overall a darn good viiiibe. He was even making sure to let other customers know he’d get to them while taking his time with me. Seriously he is THE bike man you want, go get em’ !

Stopped in to try and find a decent pair of hiking boots. Had a long chat with the fella in the shoe department tried on many different styles and makes and finally settle to own one. I really appreciate the time and the effort that the salesman put in to this and I can't wait to really break these things in.

I bought a pair of hiking sandals from this location a few years ago, which were sold to me with the promise of durability and a warranty. The specifics of the warranty weren't detailed at the point of sale, but the assurance of manufacturer's coverage was a huge selling point, considering I needed sturdy sandals that wouldn't break down over time. Unfortunately, a year or two later, the sandals did break apart. When I returned to the store June of last year to address this issue, the experience was far from satisfactory. Not only was I treated without the expected care or decency, but the manager on duty also berated me, making me feel as though I was in the wrong for wanting to make a return based on what I was initially told. They even shared personal anecdotes about their own shoes wearing out over time, which was irrelevant and unprofessional. I even reached out to corporate about the experience and received no response. The role of customer service is to assist the customer, not to justify product failures or debate the customer's experience. I have not shopped at this store since and have no plans to return due to this terrible customer service experience.
