Moved into our rental five months ago, true guard was nothing but transparent about the repairs that the home needed and completed them in a timely manner to meet our move in date. Since then they have provided excellent maintenance; new dish washer, microwave, HVAC service. They even installed an entire new rear fence after I mentioned the back gate wasn’t opening properly.

I just moved into a unit on Thursday, and today is Monday. So far I have had no AC for 1 day, I had a clogged shower, now I have a tub faucet that splatters, I have a outlet that is recessed into the wall that blew already and burnt out my Spectrum modem. I have wasp nests here on the day I moved in, and they are refusing the remove them, even though Texas ordinance state a landlord must make sure a living space is habital before a new tenant moves in. I have black grime on the shower tile, ZERO new paint was used on patched portions of the walls. The apartment was absolutely not cleaned before I moved in, and they claim it was. Now today on Monday, I run the dishwasher for the first time and its leaking all over the floor. Do you think anyone went out of their way to help over the weekend? Nope. They were all home enjoying their weekend while I am stuck in the mess they created for me by not inspecting this unit properly. I have had to deal with some horrible property management companies, and this one I had high hopes for based on the reviews, but the past 3 days have been hell. I can't get my time back, and now I am going to be expected to give them time out of my day, and I am going to have to pull away from work to be here while they fix things, and that is IF they fix things.
