Customer experiences

I’ve been to Saint Louise Bar & Grill a few times, and I’ve always liked the atmosphere. The staff are friendly and professional, and the place has a good vibe overall. Last night, my friend and I went again and ordered the All You Can Eat Wings, a Wing Poutine, and some beers. The main concern, which unfortunately keeps happening, is the quality of the All You Can Eat Wings. Every time I order the AYCE option, the wings come with a strong unpleasant smell, and the meat looks bruised or slightly bloody, as if it isn’t fresh. This has now happened on three different visits. What makes it more noticeable is that their regular wings don’t have this issue at all. I’m leaving this review respectfully, because I actually like this place. But if the AYCE wings stay at this quality level, customers may start choosing other restaurants for wings. I’d really like to keep coming here, so I hope the kitchen can review this item and improve the consistency.

Went to St. Louis and had a really solid experience. There was no wait time at all, which was a great start to the night. We were seated right away and didn’t feel rushed at any point. The waiters were genuinely friendly and attentive. They checked in often, had good energy, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The happy hour menu was also a highlight. Good variety, fair prices, and everything we ordered came out fresh and well prepared. It felt like good value for what you’re getting. Overall, it was a great night out. Smooth service, good food, and an easygoing atmosphere made it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Would definitely go back.

Go in Dec 17 2025, apparently it's happy hour when I was there. Certain draught was $6 (Canadian and Miller Lite). I order a Canadian and waitress says taps are frozen or something, and only Miller Lite is therefore available at that price. I said, well can you not substitute for something similar to Canadian? I don't want a light beer. E.g. Coors Banquet? Waitress says no. I try to explain to her logically but that seemed to overload the circuits and she says she will try to contact the owner(s) for clearance. I say sure. She comes back in a bit... owners not available for comment. I say hey, take my number, have the owner(s) text me to discuss. Days on and still no contact. Empower the staff to make judgement calls like this. Why would your problem need to become my inconvenience on something that's so easily avoidable? It's not like I'm asking for a bottle of Dom in place of a pint of Canadian. And the irony... the waitress had to (try to) check with "the owner" to sub Coors for Canadian, yet the whole time I was there she was sitting with a colleague at a vacant table gossiping, or having a conversation from behind the bar to the person in the dining area about whatever while there were 3 people at the bar, myself, and another person in the restaurant. Well interesting that she didn't have to check with the boss if that was okay. The job of the barperson is to engage customers, not neglect them. And in the process, I had to hear the incessant nattering about whatever life drama they were going through as conveyed to their colleague. Insult to injury, the pickle chips I ordered didn't have green onion on them like they are supposed to.

When you arrive you can sit wherever you like without the host at the front, just a heads up cause we noticed a few times people were just waiting for a seat at the front for a while. Not sure if there is a sign at the front but would highly suggest that so customers aren’t just waiting around. Overall, can’t go wrong with the chicken wings here and great service!
