You want to know how to spot a property management company that tries to take advantage of tenants? Look at all the reviews that Tower Properties tries to "set the record straight." A piece of advice -- you shouldn't have to consistently "set the record straight" about issues that tenants have with you all, especially after they leave reviews so that other consumers can make a well educated decision on whether or not to do business with you. It's called just taking accountability of your company for not doing your job well. Now there's always 2 sides to every story, but consistently trying to over-correct information on reviews is a HUGE RED FLAG. Still waiting for Justin to do his job "since he has other people doing all types of work" but as the leader of his company, he somehow can't step in to assist some work when someone's out on PTO? That's some great work ethic there buddy. I would also like to make clear, that I do not post consumer reviews often and not without reason. Tower Properties has refused to take responsibility in the major work that needed to be done on the home I lived in while a tenant with them and now they are trying to say that I owe them more than what my security deposit was. Now that is understandable if all the "damage" was actually proven to be caused by me, however, they take DAYS to respond to you with an itemized receipt when in reality it's just a construction invoice to the landlord of all the work that the home needs and then they just cherry pick different amounts and say "yep that looks good! charge them that!" It's like we're in an alternate reality where just because they do something, us as tenants are required to just follow suit? No. Provide ITEMIZED receipts to all your tenants. Historically speaking, your business reviews show that you clearly have an issue communicating with past tenants on move-out costs for years and no improvement has been made as a business. It takes 2 parties to tango - and your refusal to accept any accountability is deafening.

Edit to say: look below for yet another example of this ethically flawed company responding to their powerless tenants with anonymous gaslighting on the internet after their mistreated tenants decide to review their company in good faith to prevent other unsuspecting renters from being taken advantage of. Cool! YIKES! Would not recommend renting here… very unpleasant experience. We hired professional cleaners after we moved out, and they still took our entire (several thousand dollar) security deposit. Then, they emailed us a month later letting us know they were demanding additional $170 in funds because the grout was dirty and peeling? Okay… sounds like regular wear and tear to me. Anyway, we got a money order and mailed it in to their office. Surprise surprise, it was “never received.” I’m not saying they received it, cashed it, and told us they didn’t, but I also am not saying I trust them to be honest about it. Anyway, after weeks of back and forth and many pestering emails from their end, I brought a check in person as requested by their accounting team. I go to bring the check at 10 AM, and they were not even present at the office or answering the phone. Truly absurd. Finally this ordeal is over. What a scummy company. If you want to avoid being ripped off, don’t rent with them. Period.

I have been working with Tower for 2+ years and they continue to go above and beyond in every way possible. Everyone I have interacted with has been very kind, knowledgable, professional and super helpful. Any issues at the property have been taken care of very quickly, they work extra hard to find new tenants, and do an impressive job overall at managing the property. I would highly recommend Tower to anyone who is looking for a property management company and doesn't want to worry about their property as it will be in great hands. A++++

I own a condo and have had Tower Property manage it for about 9 months. I interviewed several companies before hiring Tower and am very, very pleased with their service. I can't remember all the names of the staff who've helped--but the leasing team (Abigail), tenant relations (Valentina), Maintenance team (Mike and Sam) and Hudson and Ryan are all top notch! Professional, reliable, and always on top of things. I've worked with others at Tower and at the moment, I can't recall their names, but they were excellent too. Top to bottom, the staff are true rockstars. I never have to chase them for updates or wonder if something’s getting done. Tower has earned my trust. If you're looking for a management company that provides you extra value for your fees, you should call Tower!
