I would strongly caution tenants against renting from this company. For most of the year, everything was fine. We were respectful, reliable tenants and even took on extra responsibilities — like lawn care — despite it being included in our lease, just to help the landlord avoid doing it on weekends. The major issue came at the end of our lease with the unfair partial return of our security deposit. When we moved in, there were several pre-existing issues we didn’t complain about because we didn’t want to be difficult: drawers were falling apart, walls were scuffed from previous tenants, and about half the blinds didn’t function. We assumed these issues had been documented during their inspection. We took our own photos but were never given a formal move-in inspection report or a list of existing damages. Upon moving out, we were unhappy to be charged for: Replacement of 3 blinds – $275 (These were broken when we moved in.) Shower repairs & caulking due to water damage – $500 (The caulking always looked bad. I’m not a plumber — how would I know it was causing damage? There was no water spots or anything a normal person would notice.) Wall patching and spot painting – $250 (Totally unjustified — see attached move-in photos.) Professional cleaning – $650 (This was in the lease, so we expected it.) If you're a first-time renter or younger tenant, I recommend avoiding this company. I was never even emailed a breakdown of these charges — if I had been, I might have been able to discuss them with the landlord and avoid being taken advantage of. If you're a young renter, this is your sign to document everything and take videos of stuff that doesn't work! Contact your landlord about every tiny thing because you will be charged for anything you do not mention.
