Had recently bought a car from a dealer and upon inspection at BMW main dealer serious issues with front suspension were highlighted. Contacted South Coast Garage and they offered a competitive price and managed to the fit car in the same week. New adaptive dampers and top mounts now fitted and the car was even cleaned! Great service, communicative, competitively priced and will be a returning customer.

After having previously used this garage in the family before we booked in a car to have a service, this then resulted in over a £3000 bill because it required work which yes does happen and then we were quoted a further £1600 for another job that supposedly needed doing. The car initially went in with no problems at all and not long ago had an MoT which passed with 0 advisories. Our family member felt pushed to have the work done as they said it would cause more problems if she didn’t. Which is fine if it needed doing that’s fine but reading other reviews it’s made me think if it was actually required. The most upsetting thing about the whole experience is that they gave her a courtesy car that’s MOT expired 4 months prior , they allowed her to drive over half an hour away home and also knowing she has small babies and the car could of been unsafe. Upon phoning they told her to drive the car back which is illegal so she refused, she told them to collect and drop of a new legal car, this was promised first thing and it didn’t turn up until 11am and they drove the illegal car back to the garage. As a car garage this surely would be kept up with. The staff as the garage couldn’t care less about this. They also quoted and charged different amounts throughout. Which we have emails stating different amounts for the same jobs.

My wife’s BMW recently went in after it had suspension failure. Everyone at South coast garage was brilliant. The car was diagnosed and repaired quickly. Both of our BMW’s will be coming here now for service and repair.

Had a great experience at South Coast. They replaced my rear discs and pads on my Volvo for a very reasonable price and in a quick and efficient time frame. Jack, Chloe and the front of house team where all very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them for any work needed on your vehicle.
