I definitely would recommend to take your dog to Small Town Board N Train! My boyfriend and I had gotten our second Malinois together, Maverick and we had a lot of trouble with his reactivity towards people but mostly dogs. At first I thought nobody could help solve his issue but Lauren proved otherwise. We ended up going with the E-collar 101 package. With just the second/ third lesson he had a lot of progress. We are now able to take him into public areas and not have much of a reaction or at least being able to control him. At first we didn’t think we could afford taking him to a trainer or find someone who cared enough to actually help but we did and it was very worth it. We are now starting to take our first Malinois dog Sky for lessons to help with her nervousness and reactivity from being behind people. Overall, if you are hesitant in any way of thinking to seek help I would definitely recommend asking Small Town Board N Train for help. Personally she is one of the best trainers I’ve seen and has a very open communication with you besides just doing lessons!!

Our new puppy, Kona, spent 4 weeks with Lauren and we are so grateful!! She had zero training, straight off a ranch, and came back to us potty trained, able to sit, stay, place, heel, come, walk on a leash, use door manners and go to stores with us. Lauren sent us photos and videos the entire time, let us take our kids to visit during training and has kept in touch since we brought Kona home. We’ve never used board and train until now but it is a must for any future puppies!

Armin was boarded with Lauren for 4 weeks. He’smuch more calm and understands the command “place”. Lauren did an amazing job with Armin! During his stay she texted me every day with updates, training tips and training tools to see which is the right fit for your dog. Then Towards the end since he’s was boarded for 4 weeks, she took him out in public space to train. I am very pleased with the results! And Of course you are going to have to meet your trainer half way and stick to those trainings and structure! Lauren is incredibly caring and she will treat your dog as her own. Not just that Armin had so much fun with her other family pets and clients. All my friends and family always rave how good of a boy he is now.

My family and I absolutely love Lauren! Lauren started off my training our wild puppy and has turned into one of our dog’s favorite people. Our puppy had issues with listening, recall and overall obedience. Lauren not only taught our dog necessary tools and skills, but she taught me as well. We trained in home, at parks and around town to ensure our dog was trained for all situations. The best part is knowing and seeing how much Lauren loves our dog. Although we finished training over a year ago, when we go out of town Lauren is the only person we trust to board our dog!
