Hard to do walk ins, I tried twice. But prices look good. Appt needed.
Small place, but great service! I wasn’t initially sure if they did men’s haircuts, but I walked in and everyone was super friendly and I got a great bread trim, which came with a facial and neck massage. They really seemed to care about the result and were very friendly. In my opinion, it’s a much better option than a generic barber shop with the little whiskey spray bottles, and it’s much less expensive as well.
So I got a hair treatment here, to permanently straighten it, right off the bat I can tell you prices are not the best. Unfortunately, there was some sort of miscommunication with the type of service I was getting, I was initially told my service included after care treatment (prior to booking an appointment), but at the moment of payment I was told I had received a completely different treatment than originally expected, and as such would not be given a thing. I find this problematic on two fronts: 1. What the heck did they do to my hair without my explicit consent??? 2. Why wasn’t I told of any changes in services before sitting in the chair? The attitude in which it was communicated was not the best, (I think it was the owner) and quite frankly the entire operation seemed super unprofessional. Whoever does appointments double booked the person who helped me and as a result was trying to finish with me as fast as possible and was I both burnt and not given the time needed to finish the service properly. My hair was still wet when I was pushed out the door. I’ve been to tons of salons with lower prices and way better service, my recommendation is to skip this place. Edit: I’d like to address the person who responded to my review: you need to get your story straight of course I was happy with the service right afterwards you didn’t tell me you had switched the service until the moment of payment, it’s appalling that you’re arguing with me in the comments given the fact YOU LIED ABOUT THE SERVICE YOU GAVE ME. I’d suggest you check your ego, and HONOR the services you offer of at least tell the client you switched the service BEFORE you perform it. You should be thankful I even decided to pay for everything after you informed me you had not performed the service I originally hired you for.
