My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding here Sep 20th. From the very first visit, to the caterer tastings, to having to plan for possible last minute changes from weather, and even follow-up after the event, I couldn't recommend this venue more. It's a BEAUTIFUL spot with excellent amenities for the couple and the bridal party. The bar staff is FABULOUS, and the food was UN! BE!! LIEVABLY!!! good. It really is a great venue, with staff that goes WAY out of their way to make sure your wedding is as close to perfect as possible. The only MINOR issue was the chairs for the ceremony were taken down by staff sometime during the dinner and celebrating, without letting us know it was being done, so some of the decorations ended up misplaced in the shuffle. That was the followup after referenced above. It was a very minor issue, and would be 4.5 stars if that was possible, but they don't deserve dropping to a 4. A huge plus was the day my wife and I stopped to drop off the last payment. She was getting ready to leave to go to a family event, which we didn't know until later, and she stayed to discuss some details and make contingency plans for possible bad weather that was expected - but thankfully didn't happen. Running late for a family event, to make sure we were completely taken care of, and not mentioning it until later says a lot about how important it is to them to make sure your day is perfect.

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at Rosedale. It went so smoothly! All of the tables and linens were set up when we got there on Friday. All we had to do was decorate. We were really happy with the communication, it was quick and very helpful. We loved the open houses, we were able to play around with what they had for decorations to see what we wanted and taste the food to better help decide what choices to make. Overall, it was a great experience, it went smoothly and wonderfully! We had a great reception!

Rosedale Park Event Center was the perfect place to host our wedding. We wanted a venue that could host both our ceremony and reception and had indoor and outdoor options for a ceremony space. I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the weather on our wedding day said otherwise but the indoor space was still beautiful for our ceremony. Additionally, Jennifer was wonderful to work with and helped with all of the planning details including table arrangements. We also loved that they have an on-site caterer. Best of all, I truly felt like I got my money’s worth from this venue. I highly recommend them to other Iowa couples! Photos by Amelia Renee Photography

This was the perfect spot for our wedding. The ability to have ceremony, reception, catering, decorations, and getting ready space all in one venue made planning so easy. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.
