Reitmans takes no accountability for the actions of the RCL Market companies they have and promote on their website so be warned before you order any pricey item for any special occassion from them!!! Reitmans was fully aware of the Canada Post strike and they should have ensured that all their RCL Market companies were aware too and that they would use other carriers but Reitmans did not!!! I ordered an item (a special occassion dress so be warned) before the strike started after seeing their online website message about shipping all orders by Purolator only to find out they purposely choose to ship it by Canada Post from a montreal location despite news warnings of the Canada Post strike being highly likely to occur within days. Now my dress will be stuck in never never land forever. Reitmans how am I "benefiting from a larger assortment of curated products to better meet my wants and needs" in this situation??? Reitmans how is your lack of accountability "a tailored shopping experience that can showcase new and relevant offerings while offering the same service I would expect from your brand"??? Absolutely NO customer service. "A" promised to call me back after discussing an issue with the Brampton store. When I called the store, they claimed that no one from Head Office had called them! An email from "A" was also never received. Purchases at the RW + Co Store were made, then, only a few days later, the store would not honour the new sale prices. Why is it that good customer service is so lacking in retail stores / staff?
I used to shop online regularly until I got to know how false the reviews are on their website. How they hide negative reviews and only show positive ones. How I got to know, well I had written few positive reviews on the product that I was happy and negative on the ones that wasn’t happy with. That never got published but my 5 star ratings were there. Based on the misleading reviews I bought few products and it was a waste of my time and money. The top was so bad but due to hidden reviews I was unaware.When I emailed back to their customer service they never cared to respond. So I decided never to shop again from a company that is dishonest to their customers. You should learn a thing or two from other well known apparel brands, where they have all kinds of reviews on their website and it is up to the customer to decide whether they want to buy or not.
Shipping on online purchases is so incredibly slow. I ordered a coat online Sunday. It is now Friday. A week business days week after and it's still processing. No changes to the tracking for 5 full days. And the sad thing is, you don't have the option to pay for faster shipping. There is only one shipping option. Coat is supposed to be delivered in a week. Two weeks to send a coat. It's a fall coat and it'll be winter by the time it gets here. I kid you not I live 20 mins from that warehouse. I asked if I could go and get myself. They said no. And that coat is an online exclusive so I can't even go and get it in store. Poor shipping. Seriously upsetting.
