When it became too stressful for our elderly cat to travel we looked in to hiring a cat sitter and came across Doreen’s website. She also ties in looking after your home - I have a lot of house plants - which is so nice and was unexpected. Her prices are reasonable and her care is top-notch. She sends pictures and/or videos of our boy when she visits him to let us know how he’s doing and lets us know how everything is around the house. If you’re looking for care for your pet we can’t recommend Wag-a-tail and Doreen enough.

I couldn't be more pleased with the care our dogs received. Doreen looked after our energetic little puppy and our sweet 6-year-old girl, for most of the day, and it was such a positive experience from start to finish. Frankie can be a bit more laid-back and sensitive, while our puppy is full of energy and always on the move — but Doreen managed both with such ease. When we got home, both dogs were happy, calm, and clearly well looked after. We really appreciated the updates during the day. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend Wag-a-Tail to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and capable dog walker. We’ll definitely be booking again!

I did a lot of research and concluded that Doreen is, without a doubt, the best pet sitter in Mississauga. For this reason, I contracted her to care for my cat and house during a recent vacation overseas. I feel that Doreen is very dedicated to the animals in her care and her clients. Her professionalism extended to the way she answered my texts and calls to her very promptly and by taking detailed notes about my cat's daily habits and preferences, ensuring that everything would go smoothly in my absence. Several times during my trip, Doreen sent me pictures of the cat to show that she was thriving, this was much appreciated. She also watered my plants, brought in the mail and put out the garbage and recycling bins. I would recommend Doreen, she was extremely reliable, flexible and the cat was very relaxed upon my return, and everything was in order in the house. I cannot recommend Doreen enough! She is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter—reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. From the moment I first met her, I felt completely at ease. Her consistent communication made such a difference, she sent me daily photo updates and little messages about how my cats were doing, which gave me such peace of mind while I was overseas. Doreen goes above and beyond with her service. She’s not only meticulous and well-organized, but she also adds thoughtful touches, such as, like giving my cats free treats, suggesting helpful ideas, and even replacing a worn-out cat mat without being asked. She’s also left sweet little gifts that truly show how much she cares. Her prices are very reasonable, and she’s always willing to do those little extra things. For example, watering plants, bringing in the mail, or just making sure your home feels looked after. She listens carefully to your needs and tailors her care with so much love and attention to detail. Thanks to Doreen, I can travel with complete comfort, knowing my cats and my home are in such good hands. She’s an absolute gem, and I feel so lucky to have found her! 🐾💛
