However, after my X-rays and cleaning, she suddenly told me I had six cavities and needed a deep cleaning—news that shocked me since I take good care of my teeth. Despite my doubts, I trusted their word, as most patients do. At checkout, I was urged to schedule multiple expensive filling appointments. Something felt off, so I sought a second opinion. When I requested my X-rays, Studio Smiles claimed a “system glitch” erased them—which seemed highly suspicious. At my new dentist’s office, new X-rays revealed I had NO cavities at all. The fact that they tried to take advantage of my vulnerability is disgusting. It’s deeply concerning that a practice would so blatantly lie to a patient. While this is my personal experience, I urge anyone visiting this office to be cautious. If something feels wrong, ask questions, and don’t hesitate to get a second opinion—it could save you from unnecessary treatment and wasted money.
