Customer experiences
I took my daughter here for an overnight and we got spa treatments. I spent right around $700. They advertise a heated salt water swimming pool. It is not heated the water was cold. The hot tub was so hot that you couldn't stay in it for more than a minute. Everyone was complaining. This hotel is very run down. They have not made any updates in over 17 years. The dinner menu is still exactly the same. They have no specials in the menu is very limited. We were there on a Saturday night and there was only us and another couple at another table. We had to send back our mushroom ravioli because the chef did not render the alcohol down. It was unedible. Bought the spinach artichoke dip and bread was amazing. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. They offered us a free dessert to make up for the mushroom ravioli that we had to send back. They have a mat around the pool area so that it's not slippery. But I think they have it upside down so the spikes are on top. Very painful to walk on. The spa services were wonderful but very very pricey. I think for the area and location. A little bit out of touch. If they would go down on their prices their technicians would stay busy. It's a missed opportunity for the lafayettes. They bought this location over 17 years ago and have put zero money into it. No updates, they have the same rugs, the same furniture, everything is old and worn out. Out. If they would run some specials and lower their prices they could probably turn a profit. It's only a matter of time that this place is going to be closed down. There's no way. No way that they are making any money. We were there on a weekend. And only saw one other family. One other person was getting spa services during the 2 hours that we were there, one family in the pool area, and one couple in the restaurant. There's no way that they're making a profit. It's sad because it has so much potential. With some proper product they could have clean toilets. I'm attaching a photograph of the disgusting bathroom situation in our spa King room.
Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The pictures in the reviews are very accurate in the terms of the spa and amenities. It's quiet and the room we have is nice and spacious with everything we need. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed here for the first time. Service was great! Lizzie at the Front desk was so nice & friendly. Rooms were clean. Nice pool! Took a tour of the spa.. very nice but didn’t stay long enough to use it. Pay the extra money and stay on the second floor or in a suite.
Nice classic hotel. Great pool and saunas. Rooms are a little dated but clean and accommodating. Restaurant is nice too. Definitely worth it for the price.
Nine Stones Spa is a day spa.
