This Hampton Inn in Rockland looks to be fairly new. Our room was basically. A large studio with a bed on one side and chairs table and couch on the other side, it had freshly been painted. The mattress was comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The price was comparable. The location was excellent for us to visit the central Maine coastline. Would definitely stay here again.

Just spent four nights, doing day trips to enjoy everything along Route 1and the Maine coast! Convenient location and great service from every staff member!! PLUS .. terrific seafood nearby at The Zach Shack and ice cream across the street at Dorman’s Dairy Dream. Chris at the front desk could not have been more accommodating!! Building was clean, well maintained, and breakfast was exceptional. Our stay made for a wonderful Maine mid coast experience!!!

Priced at nearly $400/night this weekend this hotel is a terrible value The staff is nice but we had problems with water pressure in the shower, motorized window blinds that didn’t work in our room which we reported but were not fixed . The breakfast bar ran out of bananas at 6:30 am…couldn’t they have bought sufficient supplies? As a Hilton Honors member I was very disappointed in this hotel

If you're looking for a hotel where you can sleep good without hearing your neighbors or your back hurting when you wake up, this isn't the place. Laying in bed, you can hear the people above you, thud, thud, thud or the next door neighbors through the walls. As for the bed, it seems comfy at first, but then when you wake up, you have a stiff back. Personally, the really good thing was the air conditioner had a setting where you can keep the fan running all night. The breakfast is your normal "hot breakfast of "egg omlets", bacon, waffle maker. Otherwise it's your normal hotel and the staff here is very friendly. However, they are talking about updating the hotel. They just took room measurements.
