Unbelievably good pie. Worth travelling for! Somehow we’ve only ever tried the savoury pies, so next time we need to remember to get a few sweet ones. With convection baking at home, they come out so perfect. It’s really good value, the fillings are delicious and well seasoned. We loved the Rickard’s beef pie. It’s all about the crust… the golden colour, extreme flakiness, incredible flavour, and properly salted. Even the bottom was perfectly crisp. This is no easy feat. Not the best photo, but I had to stop mid-meal to take a pic of the pastry... look at those golden flakes! We will definitely return to stock up on pies for our deep freezer! 🥰

It’s true they have an amazing crust! The best crust and pie I have tasted in my life!! I got an apple pie and the apples are locally sourced and somehow just so good. They have the perfect sweetness and was not sour like other places. The crust didn’t have that lard smell and thick taste because this one was flaky. Very affordable for a pie! Sweet lady and great service!

Our family loves Mom's Bread and Pie Co! It has become a staple of the neighbourhood. We have tried almost all iterations: ordered a pie cooked and hot from the store, bought frozen pies, consumed both savoury and sweet options (my husband would say the BEST key lime pie hands down), and sampled some of their other baked goods. The flaky crust is divine and the fillings are great. Our family always has leftovers for the next day (2 adults, one toddler) which makes it even more worth it. You deserve all the laurels you are receiving!

Located at the corner of King and Betzner Ave with plenty of on street parking out front and on Betzner. This recently opened and definitely a local shop opened with a lot of skill and passion for the craft of baking. As you walk in, you are surrounded by a very comforting smell of freshly baked goodies. I saw the buttermilk biscuit with Brie and blueberry compote and indulged before ordering anything else. It was decadent and definitely a must have! I picked up a chicken mushroom Brie for immediate consumption and this pie puts anything I have enjoyed to shame. Being the piggy that I am, I also purchased a frozen apple pie to be enjoyed later and saw a fresh batch hand pies and cookies just being taken out from the oven, took some to enjoy at home - they were out of this world delicious! Will definitely be returning to try out their many other goodies when I am in the area
