If I could give 0 stars I would. It's a constant battle to get this surgery to give sufficient treatment to my grandmother who is house bound and severely ill. They don't care about her and constantly tell my grandmother and other family members different stories as to why she can't have a home visit etc. They don't pursue referrals from consultants and are happy to leave people dying because they can't be bothered and I'm talking about the office staff and clinical staff. Poor poor service. Avoid if you don't want your family member left to die slowly and painfully. This has been going on for years and we are getting nowhere. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

This surgery left me for 6 years with high cholesterol,which was clearly documented on my medical record.It was only after I'd had a heart attack, they decided to keep a check on me!!! Welcome to our local NHS aka National Horror Service. I'd go somewhere else,but they all seem the same. It's a shame as I've been with this surgery for 60 years and slowly but surely it's now unrecognisable.

ZERO STAR!!!! SHOCKING SERVICE Today is 12th Feb last week went in Friday because the hospital have shared protocol for the Dr's to now administer my methotrexate for my RA we told they have 2 admin staff and that basically no Dr has looked at the shared protocol letter at all...despite it being sent Months and Months earlier. Told by receptionist on the Friday they had winged the letter over as high priority on an email. Just rung today and now apparently there's nothing no letter no shared protocol...zilch......so I've been given the run around and I need my medication...definitely not acceptable at all. This Dr's surgery is unreal 😳....why can they not get anything right at all...it's not acceptable to have people waiting for medication they need and giving you the run around....so I'm taking it I now have to go in with the letter that I was CCd into because they can't get anything right at ALL OM...G !!! Awful service I completely understand not being able to get an appointment because they're busy. Appointments in the patient access are sporadic there is no appointments available same day. They removed the ability of a ring back so you need to keeping ringing and ringing to an engaged tone to then be told all appointments gone.. I rang up unable to breathe and told by receptionist that I can't have an inhaler?? I don't think that is a decision a receptionist should be making. I wasn't offered any advice i on how to get any help seen as ive been ill for 10 days straight getting no better getting worse. Eventually rang 111 who says that drs keep appointments back for 111 so why wasn't I told to ring 111.. 111 sent me straight to the hospital and now I am at bardoc because they think should be seen by a dr. Absolutely appalled at the service from this drs.

The Alkrington and Junction clinics have both gone down hill since the old partner GPs retired. Dr Thomason would listen and give you the time you needed, whereas the new partner GP is abrasive, talks down to you and doesn't listen. It makes me dread having to go to the doctors. A letter was written on behalf of a vulnerable family member and wasn't even factual or based on his actual medical records. After being with the practice for over 20 years, its time to find an alternative.
