Had an absolutely fantastic experience at McReilly’s! My kids (8 and 12) ordered chicken wings, fries, and an ice-cream cookie along with mozzarella sticks, while I went for the chicken salad—and everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. My salad was particularly amazing, packed with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavours. What truly made the visit special was the outstanding service. Our waitress was wonderful with my kids, making them feel welcome and ensuring they had everything they needed. We even had a great conversation with her about hedgehogs, which was a fun and unexpected bonus since we have one as a pet! It’s not often you find a place that delivers both excellent food and top-tier service, but McReilly’s nailed it. Highly recommend for a great meal out with the family!

Wow… huge, fresh, and delicious pasta with mini garlic bread for just $20! Great patio and excellent customer service. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this in Toronto.

When the new years fireworks this year were cancelled I decided I would propose to my now fiancé here, the staff were absolutely wonderful, Lynn in particular, recording our proposal and giving us some special decoration and a free shot each. I didn't see myself as someone to propose in a bar, but it was certainly a wonderful experience thanks to the staff. highly, highly recommend.

I'd like to start by saying I have been to McReilly's often, and every time the food has been outstanding. Tyson, the bartender, has always been attentive and upbeat. Last night, though, was one of the worst experiences I had eating out. The place felt cold and depressing. I attended with my girlfriend for dinner, and when we chose a table, I had to get the server to wipe down a very sticky table. We were asked right away if we wanted to place our order, but I hadn't even opened the menu yet, let alone sat down. After that, we were pretty much forgotten about. The whole bar/pub is served by the bartender, where it seems they are more interested in pouring drinks and chatting with the drunks. We even had another table near us speaking up to get some service as they had been sitting unattended, since they arrived, for about 15 minutes. My girlfriend ordered fries with a grilled cheese, and I ordered the Tex-Mex fries. My girlfriend noticed that the cheese in the grilled cheese was not melted and still had solid cheese chunks, so she ate her fries while waiting for our server to come back to mention it to her. They only came back when we were pretty much done and were clearing the plates. It was mentioned about the grilled cheese, where they offered to take it to the kitchen and fix it. They came back saying it was made fresh. Unfortunately, all that was done to fix it was to microwave it. It came back limp with a plate of the liquid cheese that had oozed out of the sandwich. It was no longer edible, so we just left it. As for my meal, the fries were hot as they should be, but the salsa and sour cream on top were freezing cold. Enough so that I could feel the cold on my teeth when I was eating it. To top it off, the bottom of my plate was a lake of tomato water. I take it the salsa was frozen and then defrosted to put on top of the fries, but the liquid drained to the bottom of the plate and made at least half of my fries soggy. I only ate about half of my order that wasn’t soggy. We waited for about 15 minutes to pay our bill, so I eventually decided to just go to the bar and stand by the cash register to get her attention to pay. As I said, I have eaten here in the past and the food has been excellent, but last night, being totally forgotten about and the food being a 1 out of 10 was a bit of a shock.
