This company will take your money and promise you that they are a good rental company. STAY AWAY! When we moved into one of there rentals , it was clearly abandoned for months (confirmed by the neighbors). Three of the interior doors were not installed, the lawn had weeds that were nearly 4 foot tall, and the house was infested with earwigs. We requested service, but nothing was ever done to resolve the issues and had to be done out of our own pocket. As the months progressed, we had a neighbor that would just leave trash out in our front lawn, and actually let a dog die in the backyard (where it rotted until we had animal control come out). When expressing our concerns about the neighbor, no actions were taken to even make it seem like they cared at all. We ultimately moved out four months prior to the lease ending and paid for the additional months, because it cost LESS than if we were to break the lease. We had the home professionally cleaned and painted prior to turning the keys back over. Now they are charging us 900 dollars to fix blinds, an oven ventilation good (that wasn't working upon move in), and damage that was pre existing on the exterior door frames. RENTERS BE WARRY OF THIS COMPANY. If you find yourselves having to rent with RPM take an arsenal of pictures of the home before moving in, and good luck. The photos below are of the home after it was cleaned, they charged us a 350 dollar cleaning fee as well.
Where to start first of all when I seen the house online, I contacted them and they said I’d have to put up a deposit to see the house, that if I didn’t like it, they would give me my money back, minus the days that had been off the market. Well, the sign was not put out in the yard until after I put up the deposit. And which I told them that. My husband and I came by every single day after we put up the deposit to see the progress and what all was getting done. Which was nothing. When we moved in the house was not cleaned. The repairs were not done. The carpets were not cleaned. They had to send somebody out to cut out part of the carpet because it had wax buildup from some wax getting spilled and put a patch in it. I argued with her about the carpets not being cleaned. Finally, she says I know they were cleaned, but just don’t clean them when you move out. I’m not sending anybody anymore. Mind you, I looked in the window every single day so I knew that they were not cleaned. When we moved in they smelt like body odor. So we were forced to pretty much take the house because they kept it off of the market for over a month and we paid just Under $3000. I believe for the deposit and with fees and everything it was over $4000. Well, when you keep the house off the market for so long, you kind of force the people to take the house because then if not you keep all their money. So since I’ve moved in. I’ve been fighting with them to do all the repairs that they said they would do and that would be done. The biggest one is the pool. I told them from the very beginning that the entire pool needed an overhaul that it was in terrible shape. They sent somebody out to give an estimate on the pool liner, mind you this is an inground pool. I said well the concrete is gonna have to be redone, but they still only got the estimate for the liner And said we can’t do the work until the temperature is at least 60° for several days. This was October. So now we’re at pool season they come out to do the liner and what do you know the concrete needs to be redone so the pools put on hold while they go back to the homeowner and ask for More money to do the concrete. When I find that out I said hey, why don’t you have them look at the pool equipment, pump etc. too cause it’s gonna need work on shore it looks pretty rough. No one listen to me so if they ever get the approval for the concrete and they come out to do the job once they go to turn on the pool, guess where we’re gonna be again? Put on hold to get another approval from the homeowner to get the equipment fixed or replaced. It has been nothing but a nightmare with this company and I would not recommend them to anyone.when I reach out to them to try to get information on times details updates, they don’t get back to me. Until I have notified them several times. Then they’ll send me a text about how sorry they are and blah blah blah. It’s been the worst experience of my life as far as management companies go. So we found out who the homeowner is and we have asked for a call from the manager of RPM Enterprise to give us a call to fix these issues, which I have not gotten yet. If we do not then we’re gonna reach out to the homeowner and let them know about the whole experience and everything that he has paid for that has not been done. That they’re making a lot of money off of him. And if that doesn’t get things resolved, we’re gonna go to the attorney route. Do not rent from this company. The pictures that they used to rent this house with pictures of when the house was in way better condition and the pool was beautiful. Fraud and a scam. The little 2 x 4 piece in one of the photos, that’s their attempt at repair. And all the little blocks you see stacked up everywhere that’s another attempt of a repair.
Extremely grateful for the teams patience and assistance to help me transition to a new house after I had to unexpectedly move out my previous house. The recently renovated home looks very well done so far and done with intention in comparison with the laminate quick flips you usually see today. Look forward to make this house my home!
