I have made an appointment for my kids to get treatment and teeth cleaning. When Susan called me back to confirm the appointment I asked her to send me a patient responsibility invoice and at that time she wanted to go back in my kids history to let me know what appointments we missed last year and then I asked her to send me the invoice because they’re missing an appointment has nothing to do with their current appointments that we’re coming up she obliged to send me the information via email and verify my email address and we hung up the phone. Susan called me back in a few minutes and then told me that my kids will have to come in for a clean first instead of the treatment without even asking me why we need to come in for the treatment first now remind you the treatment was scheduled and the cleaning was scheduled on the same week. Susan told me because it was the new dentist that they had to come in for the cleaning first so I explained to Susan that my kid was having dental pain and that was the reason that I’m coming in for treatment. She did not care she treated me with no respect no regards to how my children felt so I canceled Their appointments there and we are going to find another doctor that cares more about the children’s well-being and getting a teeth cleaning done. I would never take my kids back here where people are taking their own personal feelings and going to talk to the dentist because she did not like our conversation that is unfair to my kids and anybody else else’s so thank you, Susan and Robby’s Road pediatric dentistry we will be finding somewhere else to go what we feel wanted and feel comfortable !

I had questions and concerns with my child’s treatment today and felt Dr Schmitz was dismissive, disrespectful and pushy in his conversation with me. I mentioned my experience to the office staff at the end of my visit and they seemed equally unconcerned. I think it’s important to be able have a dialogue with your children’s provider and have your concerns about their care actually listened to and considered, so I won’t be returning. My family has been going there for two years and had positive experiences with Dr. Luke, but perhaps the practice has changed. I left feeling very uncomfortable and disrespected by Dr Schmitz and his staff.

Ins info was provided the day prior, which gave the staff ample amount of time to run Benefits/Eligibility, just to come to the appt wait 20 mins after the sch appt to be advise of the plan info. It would be helpful if all front staff members were trained on how to run ins, talk to the carriers & understand the benefits rather then leaving it to one person-Ins coordinator/financial advisor.
