One of the worst property management companies I’ve dealt with. These reviews and their rating are highly suspect. Some issues I experienced: raising rent 20% per year on two different occasions. Missing appointments for property visits once trying to blame me for the missed appt even though it was their agent. Bothering me with the neighbors hOA complaints a number of times. Outrageous charges for carpet cleaning and maintenance charges after moving out of a property I lived in for over 5 years, incidentally the carpet was trashed when we moved in and we even asked for it to be replaced during our last two years which was denied. One of the charges you will get is a $265 move out remediation fee. Also pet fees are not applied to move out. If a property is managed by this company I would look elsewhere. Here are some photos of a property they deemed as being left in serious neglect. I was even charged for trash I placed neatly at the curb to be picked up a day later…I even saved their fridge from being ruined because they didn’t have the electricity changed over in time to their name. You’re welcome.
We have owner our home in Kyle for a couple of years and had a harrowing experience with our previous property manager. I found keyrenters online and after speaking to them, hired them immediately. Sheila Aronow was our manager and I can not praise her enough. Everything she promised was delivered. She was on top of everything from the start, I was promised a weekly report and it was delivered every week on time. In fact I was the one who would be lagging behind. Prior to switching property managers my home was vacant for 3 months. Key renter rented it within a month. I highly recommend them, specially if you are an out of state owner like us, please trust your home with someone who is looking out for your interest.
Avoid this lazy, unresponsive PM company. Landlords, run from this company! Robyn Ulrich and Blake Wages let units slip through the cracks - 6 months vacant. Have different people reach out to pretend as prospective tenants, yet no one at Keyrenter ever pick up the call. Always goes to voicemail and no follow ups. If you use Keyrenter, expect your property to suffer vacant loss for as least 6 months! Highly suspect that Keyrenter is only using vacant properties to collect unnecessary application fees- this act has been reported about Keyrenter in DC. Not surprised if Keyrenter Austin also pull this shady business. Meanwhile when the property is still on the market, no one ever go around the property to do routine checks and maintenance. There was a big wasp nest formed while the property was sitting on the market. Keyrenter was supposed to take care of the property. They clearly do not!
