Two stars is a generous review. I’ve had nothing but mediocre experiences since starting my kids here a few years ago. You must call exactly at opening to get an appointment. The doctors are extremely hit or miss. God forbid you need a school entrance form completed in a timely manner. Emails will go unanswered and then when you call, they will tell you it’s your fault for sending an email to request records rather than calling.

I called and was seen the same day as a new patient for my son. We're new to Richmond VA and it has not been easy finding a doctor until I found this wonderful office. We saw Dr. Beard and she is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most understanding pediatrician I've met. She was so kind and wonderful to my sick son and called the very next morning to do a follow up on his wellbeing! I teared by when I saw her call. First time there and we absolutely love Dr. Beard and the whole office staff was great!

After multiple frustrating experiences, I feel compelled to share our ongoing issues with this pediatrician office. Appointment reliability is a serious problem—they frequently cancel on us last minute, often on the same day, forcing us to rearrange our schedules and scramble for new appointments. On top of that, sick visits are rarely with the same doctor, making continuity of care nearly impossible. It feels impersonal and disjointed every single time. What’s even more frustrating is their lack of support for families who choose a delayed vaccine schedule. We hoped for professional guidance and respect for parental choice, but instead were met with judgment and inflexibility. Their newly enforced policy stating that families must strictly follow the CDC vaccine schedule or else be dismissed from the practice is incredibly disappointing. Healthcare should be a partnership, not a one-size-fits-all approach with ultimatums. I cannot in good conscience recommend this office to any family looking for personalized, respectful, or consistent pediatric care.
