Had tyres fitted - later noticed they had scratched the wheels, this was never mentioned and when I spoke to them about it they one tried to get out of ownership then asked me to drive 11 miles back to the centre just to show them and the only day I could do the Manager was on his day off. Very poor service I will definitely avoid in the future

Seriously excellent and I can’t thank the team here enough!! So I had to take my car in for an MOT and unaware to me at the time was that I had an issue with a component of the wheel and it therefore failed its MOT. I had absolutely no idea what this part was or what it did however the guy that I spoke with (Dom) explained it in a way that I fully understood what was required and why. Dom took the time to explain everything to me very patiently and what I liked was that he checked my understanding of what he was explaining - I really liked this as I felt his approach was very personable and made me feel comfortable, alleviating any fears I had about my car or the cost. With two young children I couldn’t be without my car and I truly felt that both Dom and also the Manager of the centre both went out of their way to source the part needed and get it fitted for me so that I could have my car back, safe & fixed, on the same day meaning that I didn’t have to try and arrange alternative arrangements for school/nursery runs and took all of the stress away from having my car in for repair. When I went to collect my car it was the centre manager who served me, again talking me through all work carried out, and then presenting me with payment options to suit my needs. He was a real pleasure to deal with and an absolute credit to Halfords. I previously had some work done on my car and was incredibly impressed with every interaction with the staff at this garage and have been recommending them to family, friends & colleagues since. It was because of this that I booked my car in for its MOT upon being due, as prior to this I’d used a different garage every year, and I was not disappointed whatsoever. Unfortunately in society today we’re too quick to share experiences when they’ve been negative but not so quick to shout out about positive and pleasurable service and that’s the reason for me leaving this. If even just one person reads this and decides to take their car to Halfords Garage then I’ll be happy as picking somewhere you can trust with something so instrumental in your life as your car can be stressful & daunting. Thank you to Dom, the Manager and all the mechanics that worked on my car. Top professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy as always Halfords Eastbourne team. See you soon for my service!

Warm welcome, simply handed over the cars keys and timings were explained to me- structuring my expectations. I used the Free Membership that Halfords offer and saved a few pounds too. No mess, fuss or bother just doing what you would need with a friendly service. That’s how to retain a good customer base, we’ll done !

I recently visited this Halfords centre for new tires and a wheel alignment. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. All four of my newly refurbished wheels were scratched, the steering wheel was misaligned, and they damaged my rear bumper. Despite providing evidence, the staff was rude and denied responsibility. I spoke with James Glen, Regional Support Manager, who also refused to acknowledge the damages. This has been a highly unprofessional and frustrating experience. I expected better from Halfords.
