Update on May 27, 2025 - - - According to the BBB.Org, it seems that the Guaranty Pest Control is now out of business, and is not licensed to operate in Alabama (see the attached BBB.Org screen image). I never got a notification from the Guaranty Pest Control informing me that they were going out of business and to transfer my business to another company! This is totally irresponsible! I tried calling their number (205)424-2480 several times to find out what is going on, but their phone is off the hook it seems (busy signal all the time)! Earlier Review a few weeks ago: It seems Guaranty Pest Control is having a great deal of difficulty in hiring and retaining crew members to do annual termite inspections of houses in Birmingham! The entire last year they were unable to send anyone to my house for the annual inspection despite repeated calls from me! The scheduling lady (Delia?) was very apologetic last year and admitted they did not have anyone available to inspect my house last year, and had only one crew member that was still in training (I called three separate times over the course of the year)! This is not a good sign! I don't know how long Guaranty Pest Control will stay in business! I hope they will alert home owners if they are shutting down the business so that we could give business to other pest control companies!

The sorriest company I've ever had. Used this place for years. When we moved, we took them with us but shouldn't have. Never would show up on time, half a55ed the inspection every year and after the last inspection last year, I contacted the state. That investigation turned up that they didn't do most of our new house correctly and I'm still waiting on the remedial work to be done. Hired another company for pest control and have since learned this sorry company is pretty much out of business but they can't let anyone know. So I guess I'll go hire an attorney for what they haven't done to find out what my recourse is considering they had insurance for my years with them.

I hate to write a review like this, but beware of Guaranty. We've been a customer of theirs for almost 20 years. Back when Keith was still there, things were well running and timely. I had someone out every three months to check termite stations and kind, prompt communications. Once he left, we have seen someone come out once, and I had to call three times to ask them to come. It's now been over 1.5 years since we've heard anything from them. When I asked, they told me they were too busy and short-staffed to come out regularly.... I guess we'll find another pest control/termite company. Very disappointed.

Termite stations have not been checked in over a year nor has crawl space. When I finally got them to come out over half of the stations were not checked. Still broken and full of dirt. Crawl space was not checked. They said they would come back out and fix my stations and check my crawl space. They never showed up.
