The doctor was nice and I got my hrt quickly. But the doctor wasn’t in the day of my scheduled appointment, and so now I’m gonna be 2 months without her due to the rescheduled time. This is incredibly unethical, and mistreatment of trans people that are trying to get treatment. It is very disheartening and frustrating, and leading to a lot of distress and devastation for me. The only reason I’m not going to another place is because it’s incredibly hard to find any hrt access where I’m at, and I’ve already gotten recommended this doctor

I see the Endocrinologists. I've not had any issues with anyone there. Friendly and knowledgeable. Dr seems like she really cares.

I have had many days spent at the graves Gilbert clinic, my primary doctor as well as specialist. Almost 100% of the time they are completely accepting me and my Rottweiler service dog Buddy. He is a mobility assist dog, without him I would need crutches a wheelchair or a walker. Thank you Graves Gilbert 🥰

So just moved to Bowling Green, I and my family have the same insurance provider and they partner primarily with Graves Gilbert. My insurance states that there are 21 doctors accepting patient as per the last certification. I have called every location repeatedly asking to be seen by a different doctor and told everytime they are not accepting new patients. I called my insurance who went through their recently updated list with me and called all offices and were told the same thing. When transferred to the patient resources department they told the insurance company they can email offices and see who can see any of us but it would take up to 5 days to hear back. I have epilepsy and a few other conditions, and 2 others in my family have conditions to manage we got a call back over a week later saying that only I would be able to be seen in February and I called them last week of August. They also partner with Medicare/medicaid, so when I called and filed a complaint a few days later their patient complaint department lady called me and said they can try and squeeze us in sooner but again she would have to email the offices and get back to me in 3-5 days. Finally in October (4th and 7th respectively) my son and I were seen. Medications were requested (brought the previous medication bottles with us along with our digital medical records). I informed the doctors that pur insurance will most likely need prior authorizations before sending to the pharmacy. I had already spoken to our pharmacy insurance group and they gave me a number to give the Dr's office to expedite the authorization. The worker refused to take it said they have the number on file. None days later and still waiting on the Prior authorization to be even sent in. I have called 10 to 15 times and voicemail everytime never anyone available, the pharmacy has called and faxed close to 20 times, even my insurance has tried to call and only get voicemail. I have left voicemail after voicemail, got one call at 7 am (unable to get to the phone) their voicemail states they spoke to the insurance company and the pharmacy and everything is all good to go, but it was not I tried calling back an hour later and no answer. I am a former RN so I am familiar with the processes for new patient, insurance authorizations and so on this is just ridiculous. Huge waste of time and effort I wish my insurance partnered with someone else.

Graves Gilbert Clinic is a medical clinic.
