Customer experiences
great building and coffee. free wifi, good spots for working, outlets, and standard two hour time limit. Iced americano was nice and strong. the other drinks and pastries also look really good so i’ll try them next time. staff is polite and quick. the best part is the atmosphere and interior design for sure.
Housed in a gorgeous historical building, this café’s design has stood the test of time and still feels as inviting as ever. It’s the perfect setting for coffee meetings - whether for business or pleasure. The outdoor patio, framed by a beautiful wrought iron fence, adds to its charm and makes it an ideal spot to linger. The coffee is consistently excellent - never burnt, never sour. I haven’t tried their pastries yet, but they always look tempting in the display case.
I was looking for a nice cafe to grab some caffeine and a snack while I was touring Toronto and found this place. I needed a power outlet to charge my phone which this place thankfully had. The interior was very cool aesthetically and the location is nice - around Yonge Street. My latte was delicious and although they did forget to give me my carrot cake at first, the barista who looked like a young Val Kilmer was very apologetic about it. The rest of the staff were very work focused and kind and one even complimented my camera when he came to pick up my empty plate. Overall would definitely come back if I’m in the area.
This is one of the most iconic coffee shops in downtown, right in the financial district. It's always super busy during the work day Lots of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Service is very efficient. We came here around 8 on a Friday morning and it was pretty quiet, surprisingly. They have a large variety of food and pastries for commuters
