Reserved a car through Expedia for pick up at Boston Logan Airport on the 25th of Aug. at around 730 pm (and earlier rented from Sixt at Indianapolis Airport). Both experiences were good. However, RAY at Boston Logan Airport was simply amazing and made our actual pick up experience FUN besides the speed and clarity with which he processed our pick up. Very professional. The car itself was good and handled our luggage well given we had to drop our daughter at college.

Sixt Car Rentals put me and my family in danger! Several issues to speak of here. 1. Sixt did not honor our reservation for a mid-size AWD SUV and instead gave us a sedan. They said they ran out of units and all they had were reserved. What did that make us? We also reserved and months ahead! 2. The car they released to us had a deffective tire which was wrongfully/illegally repaired and the type of car did not have a spare tire. Even when they knew we were travelling across the border to Quebec, Canada in the winter! We had to keep adding air since no one would repair the tire because of the condition it was in. 3. Upon reaching out to Sixt Assistance when we got stranded at a remote location in Quebec, after informing them we needed to get back to the Boston airport for our flight, they simply said there was nothing they could do because we were far and they didn't have a provider ( don't worry, we have all the calls voice recorded). 4. We practically begged them for help and they simply did nothing and later said we could leave their car and its up to us how to get back to the airport. 5. The next day, Sixt sent us a returned vehicle receipt with our reference number, my wife's name and details but for a different vehicle which was an SUV making it appear on record that they in fact released the correct vehicle as promised in our booking. 6. Sixt did not send us a Returned Vehicle Receipt for the vehicle they actually released to us that we returned as per our booking terms. This company left us out to dry even as they knew we were in the middle of nowhere, during a blizzard snow storm and with our children. They ruined our whole family trip, made this the most stressful and dangerous trip we ever had. We will reach out to Sixt management to inform them of this terrible branch or resort to legal action.
