I had a fantastic experience at Nuffield when I visited last week for the Health 360 assessment that they offer. I first had to fill out a risk assessment questionnaire that looks into a multitude of different factors that can play a part in overall health, as well as mental health factors. If any risk is indicated a Duty doctor calls within the next 24 hours- something I found to be very comforting and shows the level of care that Nuffield put in. When my partner and I arrived we were in awe of the beautiful views the hospital had to offer, and sat down for a while just looking out the window! The actual appointment was 2 hours, consisting of 1 hour with a physiologist and 1 hour with a GP and involved a variety of different tests- all results were received within the 2 hour window so results could be discussed on the same day- remarkable! I cannot thank Miss Timms and Dr Ali enough for their help, support and care. They were truly exceptional and really made me feel at ease (as someone who can get quite anxious around hospitals/in general) and really listened to everything I’d been struggling. The whole consultation was very thorough, and I left feeling amazing and very hopeful about my health! I cannot thank the team at Nuffield enough for this fantastic experience. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who may be considering it or anyone who may be having health concerns and anxieties. Thank you so much Nuffield, I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful time.

Stayed in the hospital 5 days and 5 nights for my gender affirmation surgery with Mr. Larner and across the board it was five stars. I mean the surgery is difficult to rate given I was unconscious but all the staff during that phase were super lovely. The nursing staff and gender team were always friendly which given I was bed bound for two days is very appreciated. They were sometimes very busy but made time and were kind throughout. And they put a lot of my fears to rest. The room was very comfortable and fully featured, with a full TV menu, plugs to use and free WiFi (not something you get in the NHS). I had a super view and also the soundproofing was pretty good with the door shut. The food was delicious and the catering staff lovely - I wasn't allowed much and only had a couple of light meals (being on a three day liquid diet) but the staff was always friendly and what I had was made with care. They also did me an emergency sandwich when my discharge was delayed an hour! Overall, don't think I could have asked for a better experience.

I recently had a tooth extraction under general anaesthetic at Nuffield Brighton Hospital and was discharged the same day. From start to finish, the care was excellent – the nurses, anaesthetist, and the whole team were absolutely wonderful. The hospital itself was clean, welcoming, and reassuring. I couldn’t have wanted for more – thank you to everyone who looked after me.
