Christy WestworldNot only when you have eaten, would you know how impressive this restaurant is. I had been frustrated early as it turned full all the time when I was trying to make a reservation. Thereby, be warned to make your booking early, and at least a week ahead for it to get the seats you want! Meat: The prime rib and the steak are perfectly done! (A piece of 700g would approx. suit for a table for two for your information as well.) We ordered one 700g prime rib and one 700g steak, table for three. Cant imagine how the cook worked on that when there were so many orders at the same time. Bone marrow: Definitely need to give that a try! It smells and tastes good. Cheesecake: We are not planning to order this at first place but seeing what other tables are having, we decided to go ahead for it. You wont regret that too!
Tony HutchingsMeet up with some old work colleagues around 1330 on a Thursday and had pre booked. There was a real buzz around the place. The waiter explained about the various steaks and was very friendly. The steak was delicious and very good value compared to many Steak based restaurants. The starters were very good, and the bread and butter pudding was excellent. You can buy wine by the litre, which is excellent value. We will definitely return.
TingI spent my birthday dinner at Blacklock Covent Garden and it did not disappoint. We had a cocktail, beef ribs as a starter (melted like butter in my mouth), a porterhouse big cut (750g), beef dripping fries, 10h charcoal cooked sweet potato, and winter slaw. Let me tell you I haven’t had such a good meal in a while. The service was also perfect, all the ladies and gents working there, thumbs up to you all! We were 30’ earlier on a Tuesday but were seated almost immediately (we booked for 6:30PM) I will be back next year.
Taran CardHad the Sunday Roast Beef! Amazing. Beef was perfectly cooked, it came with the lightest Yorkshire Pudding I have ever had. The bottomless gravy is excellent and I wanted to drink it. I had it with a virgin Beefy Mary. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back to try the weekday menus.
