This company has to have by far the most inconsiderate employees ever! I lived in carleton west side apartments my whole life and its sad that as an adult i am writing this review. I never call for anything if there’s something wrong i will call someone i know to come fix what i need to be fixed in my house. When ever something breaks, needs replacement, i try my best to neverrrrrr call maintenance. Saturday my boiler shut off completely. I call the emergency line and the lady who answered my call said “wait 30 for a call back” i waited an hour! I called to tell her i have yet to receive a call and her inconsiderate self basically said “idk what to tell you im just the operator” as if she couldn’t check in with the plumber again. I have kids… isn’t this the emergency line? Why aren’t you treating this like an emergency.. she yelled at me over the phone and HUNG UP ON ME! Manny (the maintenance) who is no longer working at the building called me and said i know you are upset she just told me she hung up on you… i asked for her name nobody knows who she is. I called back and i guess she saw my name on the caller id and i was waiting for a good 15 minutes “on the emergency line”… this was the reason why i never call for a repair… the bathroom ceiling fall at every appointment i’ve been in. My aunts house, both of my sisters house, now my ceiling in cracking and guess what? I commented about it and nobody’s yet to take a look at it. Guess what i been doing? Contacting a friend to come patch it up every time its starts pealing because my biggest fear is to have that ceiling fall on my kids while im showering them. My kids dont know what a bath is because i dont like them being in the tub for over 5 minutes!. I understand theirs hundreds of units they have to attend to but god how much more understanding can a person be? I been dealing with this company since i was 8 years old. Im 26 now dealing with what my family was dealing with wayyy back then. Its very frustrating. I understand this is a “low income housing” company but we are humans too! Manny the maintenance guys helped me call down a lottt thanks god i was crying like a child. No operator should hang up on a tenant when a tenant is just trying to get help! Someone needs to retrain her on her “5 star diamond service”. She has no empathy. She was not understanding and she was no listening to the customer needs.

One star shouldn’t even be an option for this so called management company. Non responsive to any maintenance needs. Management should be ashamed by what they allow to live or I should say, ruin their properties. Disgrace and unfortunate that long term tenants have to suffer because management is careless and does nothing to rectify anything.

I submitted an application back in August and have not received any correspondence after numerous request.
