I recently completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Afterglow Studio in Hartford, CT, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. The program was incredibly comprehensive, covering everything from in-depth yoga philosophy to over 20 hours of anatomy training. What really set it apart was the heart-centered community of students and teachers who genuinely live and breathe the practice. We also had guest instructors offering workshops on tarot, Ayurveda, acupuncture, and more, which added a beautiful layer of depth and holistic learning to the experience. If you're looking for a training that blends tradition with supportive, modern guidance, this is the one.

If you’re looking for a yoga studio with vibes, events, lots of available class times and teachers who feel like best friends AND make yoga accessible for every body no matter your fitness or experience level. Oh and did I mention FUN! Afterglow is the new home you've been searching for! Everyone from the teachers to the students are so friendly, the studio is very big, clean and stunning! Jane is a forever student and always bringing new tricks to class. And each teacher brings something different and valuable to the mat week after week. 10/10 you will not regret the afterglow!

Always a beautiful class at Afterglow led by any number of their wonderful teachers. I love the blend of vinyasa/flow mixed with practical and safe alignment guidelines. Plus — the space is incredibly beautiful!

A great yoga studio in a loft space (wood floors and huge windows for natural light) and sometimes on a nearby rooftop. The owner Jane is a blend of cool and kind (you’ll feel welcome). I’m a beginner and can follow the poses. More advanced people look like they are getting their level. The studio has a fund for people who might struggle to pay and partners with other small local businesses. Love it.
