We’ve had a really great experience working with Keiko on our dog Lucca's reactivity. We started with a private lesson to tackle Lucca's issues with a family member and other dogs. Keiko didn't just give us a generic plan - she put together tailor made training plan to counter-condition Lucca toward her triggers. She also gave us a ton of practical ideas for management and safety measures that were easy for our family to follow. We also enrolled in the Reactive Rover group class, and it's been a big factor in Lucca’s improvement with other dogs. The class is incredibly well-organized with all the necessary safety measures in place. Keiko progresses the lessons at a good pace, so no dog feels overwhelmed by the class setting. We also really benefited from the pattern games taught in class, which have given us more tools to handle stressful situations when we're out and about. After finishing Reactive Rover 102, we noticed Lucca doesn't react as easily now when other dogs bark or lunge at her from a distance - something that would have definitely set her off in the past. We're very happy with her progress and plan on signing up for Reactive Rover 103 to continue our training. We definitely recommend Keiko!

I have taken several classes with Keiko after my rescue pup completed puppy classes at Seattle Humane. It was an easy transition because of continued positive reinforcement training. I always learned new tips and tricks which I continue to use today. Also, watching Keiko with the dogs taught me a lot. She is very organized and always has time for conversation with a dog parent after class. I recommend all her classes. Always grateful for her guidance. Keiko is a phenomenal trainer who has worked with us and our dog, Nimue, extensively over three years. She really understands and loves dogs. We've done many of her classes, like control unleashed and surviving a teenage puppy. She also has two new classes, fungility and nosework, that we want to try out.
