These five stars are for Chris. I've been getting deep-tissue bodywork from Chris for a couple of years, and he's gotten better and better and better, until my last massage with him, when he went next-level. I've always found him talented, but I did wonder if he trusted himself and me to go really deep. Well, he broke through any hesitations this time, and it was meta-effective. I think he felt the relief of my muscle tension as much as I did. Chirs is patient, and his technique is granular, so I can feel the relief moment by moment. I like the fact that we both stay silent, allowing full concentration of his attention and his therapeutics. He offers fully personalized physical therapy, and I think he's really come into his own with deep-tissue muscle therapy. His talent is rare in Annapolis, and well worth the Your Body Needs price-tag, plus a well deserved tip too. I should mention, however, that Your Body Needs is not the sort of place I'd normally expect to find serious therapeutic bodywork like this for back issues like mine. The business is a bit bougie. There are lots of "add-on" smells and bells available. To my mind, there's a bit of shrinkflation in making 50 and 75 minutes the pricing units instead of 60 and 90 minutes, and a bit of gouging in adding $35 more for an additional 15 minutes, for a whooping $160 charge for 90 minutes (without any add-on costs, that is, like hot towels, for one example; or 90 minutes of Warm Bamboo Massage for $175!). The website interface is intractable, and you have a 50-50 chance of getting someone live on the phone--although if you do get the front desk, you will get helpful help, both personable and accommodating. If Swedish relaxation is your thing, and price is no impediment, and you appreciate in-studio hand-blended essential oils in feature scents, Your Body Needs Annapolis probably compares very well with comparables. But I'm just in it for the physical therapy, so Chris is all I want.

I was able to get a same day appointment with I believe her name was Elizabeth. The massage was so good! It was one of those massages that makes you thank God and also hope you don’t Drool on the floor. I was in so much pain and it was almost like she could see where it hurt, she definitely knows what she is doing! Highly recommend! Thank you for helping me!

Been going here for three years and absolutely love it. The staff is always kind. I’ve worked with two massage therapist there and they were both impressive enough to set up biweekly massages. Lin is absolutely fantastic. Their hands are like alchemy. Lin is also great with feedback when you want a little more / less pressure or focus in certain areas. The office is in an easy location to get to too.

I visited Your Body Needs for a deep cleansing facial, and it was a lovely experience! Bridget, my esthetician, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. She took the time to analyze my skin and provided personalized skincare suggestions tailored to my needs, which was great because I know nothing! The treatment itself was thorough yet gentle, and she used one of their small-batch cleansers that left my skin feeling refreshed and radiant. I ended up buying some for myself and use it daily- a little goes a long way! The atmosphere of the spa was soothing and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the pampering.
