Damned expensive pints and the beer was mediocre. Rude, huffy staff obsessed with keeping the bar's carpet clean. If you're going to be funny about the cleanliness of your clientele's footwear then at least provide a boot scraper outside!

Always a pub to visit. We wanted to have lunch but they finished at 2.15 on a Saturday so must remember that in the future but we stayed for a drink and the staff are lovely inside its really chilled cosy pub. Dog friendly and car park. Lovely surroundings too.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast for family get together in this warm, cosy pub. Excellent quality food and good portions. Service very friendly and helpful, all in all a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Ye Olde George Inn offers a friendly country welcome from the beautiful village of East Meon. My room was perfectly decent too. The only real negative was the slightly temperamental shower that was at times difficult to control the temperature of. Both the breakfast (included in the price) and the two dinners that I had there were absolutely excellent. A well run inn.
