It's okay if the city wants to keep raising taxes, you could just drive out of town to buy your items. Today's modern cars are direct injection and need to be driven to avoid future repairs due to carbon buildup. Do the research. So grab a cooler, put it in your car, you can buy groceries elsewhere. Most of the time the stores are better stocked. And offer more variety. And they don't charge bag tax. So you can leave your bags in the car. Woodman's offers paper and plastic. No charge. And sometimes you can find gas when you're out for a cheaper. Oh, and i'm sure that tax rate will go away when their project is complete, right!!!!!!!!! There's a reason why 33 counties want to deflect from Illinois along the Indiana border. It's because of towns like this sitting on the edge of Illinois, and then the people look across the street then go wow what are we doing here. Food for thought.

Don't shop Walmart woodstock. City charges .10 cents a bag. Pharmacy card doesn't work either but works down street at walgreens. Boycott!
