KatePerfect way to end a fab walk with beautiful local views. Our walking group had our Christmas roast here today and could not fault anything. Meat was lush, great range of fresh vegetables (sprouts, cauliflower cheese, carrots, broccoli and red cabbage). Staff were amazing - efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Lovely atmosphere and felt very welcome. We will definitely be back … many thanks
Lou SnowWe revisited the Woody yesterday evening for the first time in many years (I used to live in Winscombe!) and we're not disappointed. What an amazing menu to choose from and all four of us really enjoyed our meals. Well cooked, presented and great portion sizes. All the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, from the bar staff to the table servers. You should be proud of them. We all would recommend a visit and we certainly won't leave it so long. Thank you and Happy Christmas to you all.
Senjo 2010Had a Christmas lunch here today. I had turkey and it was excellent, as was the service. There was a good variety of vegetables, all perfectly cooked and seasoned. I particularly enjoyed the red cabbage. Much the best roast dinner I have ever had out.
chloe hemsFantastic pub, room was great for a family with 2 teenage boys and a dog. Beds comfy, massive bathroom, spotlessly clean, cant fault it. Only gripe was the food took soooo long to get to the table. Evening meal table booked @ 7pm didn't get starter til after 8pm then main a good 40 minutes after and breakfast took forever too.
