Customer experiences
Excellent care! Dr. Kelso and staff were empathetic and professional. I have had two tooth emergencies that were addressed quickly. I appreciate the care I have received thus far.
Crystal M Kelso, DMD and her assistant Hope are amazing, especially how they interact with kids, which is very important to create possible attitude for small patients to attend dentists.
Terrible care, delayed care, poor quality. I came to Willamette with misaligned teeth unbeknownst to me. My gum health was ok at that time per their own analysis. I was with them about 10 years. I complied with all their recommendations for at home care. They consistently praised my at home care. I left Willamette with seriously bad gum health, I lost teeth while under their care and the partial they gave me to replace the teeth caused significant pain, moved around in my mouth and was only supposed to be temporary. I have been with my new dentist a few years. I have lost zero teeth, my bite is now aligned (he did this without orthodontic work which Willamette offered and likely would have resulted in more lost teeth) and my gum health is excellent. I also have a partial that causes no pain, doesn't move and is expected to last a long time. Willamette's business model means the more care they provide, the less money they make. They could have treated my misaligned teeth, given me more frequent cleanings, provided root planing and deep scaling much sooner (all so I didn't lose teeth) and provided a decent partial if necessary. Instead they were silent when I asked what more they could do to avoid losing teeth and told me to keep doing what I was doing-after I started losing teeth. Obviously there was much more they could have done but chose their pocketbook over their patient's health. I had co workers and a partner with similar experiences. Do not patronize this business if you care about your health! And to update, I did call Willamette as suggested by their response to my review. They were in a meeting and the phone recording indicated you could leave a message. I tried doing so multiple times but their system didn't work. I did follow up and eventually spoke with a rep. He took a few days to get back to me and said there is nothing they can do. I'm not sure why Willamette suggested I call them if there was nothing they could do. Perhaps more ineptitude or they didn't think I actually would call. Anyway they simply wasted my time. If you care about your mouth, teeth and health (or your employees) do not patronize Willamette.
I have massive dental anxiety and after not having good dental insurance for about 6 years, I was extremely worried about my visit today. Willamette Dental in Bend was amazing! I am super happy with my choice to come here. They put me at ease and listened to/answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. Kelso and her team! It was a great experience!
