Customer experiences
Will did an amazing job on my son Kenny’s hair today! Everyone at the salon was welcoming and kind. Will took his time and made my son feel important and made him look like a million dollars. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. The owner who’s name I did catch was also very nice and from what I saw did an amazing job as well on the client he had.I definitely will be returning soon
I received a haircut on a Friday that had significant & obvious technical issues. Poor blending between the sides and top, uneven proportions, and lack of proper texturing on the top. There were numerous warning signs during the initial haircut, including being turned away from the mirror by the first barber during the entire cut and his immediately applying product. When I returned the following Monday for corrections (and again Wednesday when they could accommodate me), there was initial resistance from the second barber saying it was 'too long ago,' but he agreed to fix the issues. The corrective barber was skilled and professional and fixed most of the technical problems with the original cut. It did not resemble the cut I originally showed in my images, but was clean and appropriate. During the cut with the second barber, payment expectations for corrective work weren't communicated upfront. During his initial resistance, he stated "so you want another cut", but I was clear I was asking for corrections, not a second haircut. This led to an awkward exchange where on my way out, the barber stated "so you're not going to pay me?", and charged me $20 dollars for the corrective cut. I paid and left, embarresed. Total, I spent $70. While I understand skilled work deserves compensation, charging customers to fix technical issues from the shop's own barbers, without clear communication about billing expectations, is not ideal. The quality varies significantly between barbers here. Customers should be aware they may encounter unexpected charges for corrective work.
Have been coming here for about two-ish years and is one of my favorite places to get my haircut in lanc! Staff is always friendly and I am always satisfied with the cuts Jay gives!
Been in 4 times...2 times didnt like the cut Asked for a simple cut, with it short enough to not be in my eyes on the top, fade down from that the barber cut it so it was long enough to fall into my eyes any time I don't have a hat or product in (I never use product) and they just put product in without asking to finish the job to cover up the work. Felt the whole time they were more focused on talking to everyone in the shop and their cellphone than my cut. 1 time was with a different barber and one of the other barber felt the need to insert themselves into the conversation to pick a verbal argument because they didn't agree with the Marvel vs DC Comics creators... Overall I would rather go to sports cuts for great clips for the exact cut I want for 25$ instead of 40 plus tip...... Seems to me a stylist knows more about how to give a cut and service than a barber at this point 👉 atleast at this place for that price.
