White oak mall was Ok to visit. My 1st time visit and took few hrs to get this Springfield location. This mall is not updated like Orland Park mall or fox valley. Help ppl see clearly this review. More stores in other malls.

I try to walk here a couple of times a week, its climate controlled, with security. 2 laps is supposed to equal a mile. There are still some nice shops here even though there are no real anchor stores, except maybe Dicks Sporting goods. I like Lost Worlds, Dumb Records, and some nice clothing stores. I wish some other stores could be coaxed in. Maybe they could try things they did in the past, such an antique shows, fashion shows for fall, and the holidays. Years ago, they had first responders and police departments displaying vehicles and doing fingerprinting for children. A Costco would be nice or a furniture store.

It's not what it used to be, but it's functional for the most part. Not uncommon to see shuttered stores for months at a time. The stores that are there are good, and the foot court is very diverse and has some good options. Good if you know what you're coming here for, not great if you like to window shop. Can't say I like to go out of my way to come here but I do every so often if I need some clothes from H&M or American Eagle. Parking is a little challenging at times. Always busy around Christmastime, very sparse otherwise. Pretty good police/security presence, have never had any issues while shopping.
