My husband and I stopped in right after lunch time while in Ankeny doing some shopping. There were only 4 or 5 people there including us. We were greeted immediately and placed our drink order. The atmosphere is very cool and I loved the decor. Super cute bar stools! I ordered the Reuben egg rolls (delicious) and my husband had a fried Mac and cheese burger. He said it was “OK.” We got our check and we noticed we were only charged for one of the bourbons instead of two, so we pointed that out and they quickly corrected our bill. Bonus: it was National Beer day according to a poster in the bar, so my Ultra was only $2.50!

Very delicious food! Best "shoestring" Onion rings ANYWHERE. Burgers are delicious. Others in our group thoroughly enjoyed the jalapeño mac and cheese, the patty melt, and chicken sandwiches. Sweet potato fries the perfect mix of tender and crunchy. Service was top-notch. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Great experience. Better food. Not enough stomach to finish all the delicious food ordered. Loved our duck drinks. Only suggestion is split servers into sections. Some food didn't come out for a while because so many people serving the same table thought it got out. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area or driving through.

They couldn’t get anything right! They got our drink wrong not once but twice, when we got our drinks there was a gnat in the drink. Then they got order wrong as well. The waiter didn’t not listen when he was taking our orders all 3 times. I definitely do not recommend! The food tasted like it came from a can this is the salad that we received. For the price you would might want to put in a bowl not a saucer. The only thing I can good about the place was that the Manager was extremely apologetic and kind.
