The dental hospital provides good treatment services but has room for improvement. A new building is needed to address infrastructure challenges, as the waiting times can be an issue. Additionally, the requirement for referrals might limit accessibility. Everyone deserves easy and free access to comprehensive dental care, and addressing these aspects could enhance the overall patient experience.

The receptionists I spoke to were polite, I got to where I needed to be easily. And I was very grateful I did not have to wait too long to be seen. However, the actual dentist who saw me was horrible. This was in the TMD clinic. He simply lacked common sense and was quite rude. He would give strange instructions which you'll attempt to follow, but then he will stare at you like you're an alien from planet Mars. And then would give the instruction he actually meant. I don't understand why he didn't give the straight forward instructions to begin with. It was unsettling behaviour. Another thing that was quite alarming: I explained the more I open my mouth, the more it hurts. At some point I was unable to open my mouth as wide as I had at the beginning due to the pain, so he suddenly started shoving my mouth open? He did not give any warning or give me any time to prepare for a grown adult man to be forcing my jaw open. I almost bit his hand off in shock. I wish I knew his name so I could advise other nervous patients to avoid but the information was not on any of my correspondence. What I'd advise instead is that any patient who feels remotely uncomfortable to speak up. I wish I had called him out on his behaviour, but I just wanted to get the appointment done and sorted. This person lacked some serious training will definitely be requesting someone different next time. I really wish I had more positives to report, but it was just shocking.

I've been seening my consultant here for nearly 2 years and I can't fault anything. All staff have been welcoming, professional and caring. My consultant Saskia has been absolutely amazing, so caring and professional. She really is the best !

I went with my daughter to see a dentist for her dental problem. First there was barrier control car park and the ground floor was only for blue badge holders. The car park was nearly full but we mange to get a space. When u enter hospital security staff told you to put a new mask on before heading to reception. Reception desk was short on staff and the receptionist was taking ages to deal with each customer. It made me late 5 min for my appointment. Other then reception desk all other staff was nice and friendly. Waiting time was about 40 minutes thats not too bad. Dentist were very friendly and helpfull. If you have an appointment there then make sure you reach there about 20 min early for car park and reception.
