Before joining the Fundamentals of Yoga: 200hr Teacher Training, I honestly wasn’t confident in teaching a class. I was really just doing yoga for the stretching. But now? I feel confident leading a full 60-minute class, complete with meditation at the beginning and end. I’ve gained so many resources that help me keep growing, improving my own practice, and sharing those skills with others. I’ve also realized that yoga is so much more than stretching—there’s breath work, guiding meditations, learning to give and receive feedback. It opened up a whole new world for me. If you’re thinking about signing up, do your research and find the right teacher for you. Someone like Dom—she shares all her knowledge, makes sure you understand it, and is flexible and supportive. She was always passionate, had such a great attitude, and if she didn’t have the answer to a question, she’d help you find it. That kind of support makes all the difference.
This review is long overdue! I did personal training sessions with Dominique a few months ago and absolutely loved working with her. She's professional, patient and attentive throughout the session. She made sure to give me tips, printouts and exercises to do at home on top of the work we did together in her studio. I was impressed with her knowledge of the pelvic floor and her ability to troubleshoot and personalize the workouts to make sure they match my body's needs and abilities. I enjoyed my sessions and look forward to doing more with her in the future. My only regret is not posting this sooner! Thanks Dominique!
Dominique is a wonderful instructor who shares her life experience to help people on their own wellness journey. The classes are small and very welcoming - it's never an intimidating environment and I always feel better after a yoga class. Highly recommend!
I’ve done a few prenatal classes with Dominique. I always feel comfortable coming to class and she uses familiar components of yoga instruction, while explaining new concepts in a way that is easy to access. She also personalizes her class series based on the needs of participants, which I think is not always found at other yoga studios. I recommend Dominique’s classes to anyone looking to get into or back into movement practices!
