Highly recommend! I was looking for a new dentist in the area and am very happy I found this office. All the equipment is brand new- clean and modern. Dr. Lee is professional and efficient, while also being friendly and an excellent communicator. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and team - ESPECIALLY if you have anxiety around dentists/dental work. I have been a patient for 3 years and from the beginning they were invested in learning why I had previously had bad experiences with other dentists/dental work, genuinely discussed them with me, and made me feel reassured that this was going to be a better experience. It has been the best dental experience I have had by far! Very kind and patient staff and transparent about costs. They also have advocated on my behalf to my insurance which was really amazing and I'm very grateful to them. I first found Wellness Dental when I lived in the neighborhood - now I'm 10+ miles away and I'm still a patient with no plans to change. Once you find a good dentist that works collaboratively with you, you stay! My constructive notes would be to continue to train as a company on trans-affirming care spaces, especially with regard to practicing asking for/using preferred pronouns. I highly recommend collaborating with Chicago Therapy Collective, another Andersonville-based organization.
