Teddy bear and MapleHad a coffee ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕ and toast on Sunday after walking around the lake. A very nice and friendly clean restaurant to stop and have something to eat, over looking the lake 😁😁😁 Teddy bear 🧸, Maple 🍁 and Tilly the corgis like coming here from when they were puppies. I think the robin likes it here, plenty of food, nice to see wildlife close.
Mandy RobinsonArrived today expecting a pre booked afternoon tea of which we'd had brought for a Christmas gift. Only to be told they aren't doing them until March. The manageress Emma was amazing. .She apologised about the online mix up and sad she would get an afternoon tea made up for us.They couldn't apologise enough and made us feel well looked after. Within no time at all we had our food. Plenty drinks and more apologies. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very professional,kind and welcoming. All in all the situation was sorted out professionally and quickly and we had a much better afternoon tea experience than expected. We had fresh sandwiches,hot sausage rolls and plenty of cakes and scones.Thanks to Emma and staff for quickly resolving the issue. .
Mike RobinsonTea and latte were very good. However fruit scones with butter were £5 each the same price if clotted cream and jam was included. I am diabetic and cannot have high sugar, high fat foods. This makes the scones very expensive. Cakes and pastries are much cheaper!!!
Julie HWent with the family on a very cold day, so the children can play. Lots of variety of things to do at Trentham Gardens. Decided to go for a coffee and the waitress gave us a menu and we sat down outside on a glorious day and told us there was no soup available. Approximately 10 minutes later we realised that nobody was coming to us. We then went to the waitress who was waiting by the door of the café to be told it was not wait on service. Just give your table number when you have paid .Surely as we sat down, she should’ve told us this? The coffee and hot chocolate were lovely. Prices ££ However the young staff need to make people aware of this .
