Wakefield Country Day School

My elementary son come to me in the second day of school (he is 2nd grade now) and said “mom I never want to leave Wakefield, everyone is so nice and caring, I love all my teachers, and Ms. Ingram is the best I just love her so very much.” Wonderful school, wonderful teachers. Everyone knows each other. Upper school saying hi to the little one by their names tells you how united they are. The little ones be able to write their names in PS are super exciting, they learn and do so much. We have been WCDS family since 2014 and for many years to come since my 4 years old is attending there as well!

My two youngest children attended WCDS. They both went on to Duke for Undergraduate studies and both Doctored in Physics. One studied with Sir Rodger Penrose on a Rhodes Scholarship and edited his book ,"The Road to Reality" We are eternally grateful to Wakefield Country Day!

I absolutely LOVE WCDS! My daughter started middle school there & I wish we would have started her in kindergarten. The curriculum is challenging, the teachers actually care and everyone is so welcoming. The kids have many opportunities that other schools don't offer; from travelling to internships and more! It's easy to see why WCDS's graduates are so successful after they leave. Would highly recommend!
