If you need movers, look no further…Von Paris Moving & Storage is the answer. We cannot say enough good things about this company. We recently needed to move all our furniture and belongings, store everything for two weeks while all our flooring was replaced, and then have everything returned. Deb-b, our assigned moving coordinator, responded promptly and thoroughly to every question we had, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. As for the actual moves, Fernando and his team showed up on time, took great care to cover our floors, and protected our walls, furniture and belongings. They worked together like a well-oiled machine. Fernando inventoried every item while the other guys dismantled furniture, wrapped and packed everything. The inventory system was incredibly efficient with lots of coding and every item was labeled, with accompanying cords, bolts/screws counted, marked, and packed. From our lampshades to our artwork to dismantling our furniture, every piece was handled with kid gloves. No matter what we asked, the response was always “Not a problem, we’ll take care of it.” We were so impressed with the efficiency of the 1st move, we requested Fernando and team manage the 2nd move returning everything at end of the two weeks. Fernando even “rebuilt” our wood entertainment center which was no small feat. Every employee was professional and cheerful, the specific inventory method was efficient, and not one thing was damaged during the two moves. We were pleasantly surprised by the low cost of the two moves and storage. Von Paris Moving & Storage is a well-run, family-owned company that prioritizes customer service!

The move was relatively sudden and needed to be planned and completed very rapidly. Working with Von Paris, as we had done previously, this time for a relatively small move, this time probably cost me a couple hundreds more than using a small local mover. But then I would not have had the services of such an experienced team and team leader on site for the move who were all great. Professional, helpful and pleasant. I Also would not have had a central office staff who knew how to facilitate rapid moves with ease and grace. Von Paris and its affiliates moved my household goods and car from Maryland to New Mexico. This was the first time I had used a professional moving company. Everything was excellent from start to finish. At every step, the communication, organization, and delivery of services were superb. The team had planning calls with me to help me to prepare, they checked in with me as the date of the move was approaching, and they gave me updates and checked to see how things were going all of the way through, beyond delivery. The car transportation team made it easy for me, picking up and delivering my car nearly to my doorstep, communicating along the way, and doing it all so quickly that my car was here the day after I arrived. The household goods movers in Maryland and in New Mexico were incredibly organized, working smoothly and efficiently like well-oiled machines. Everything was accounted for in a check and cross-check system and even my fragile art glass arrived without a scratch. Every person along the way was professional, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. It helped to make settling in and starting up in a new town exciting rather than stressful.
