Customer experiences
Such a great spa! My bridesmaids (and bridesman) and I came here during my bachelorette party. I really wanted to relax during my weekend and get a massage and facial. Both services were OUTSTANDING. The massage was the best one I have ever had in my life (shoutout to Ashley!) and my facial was also amazing. They accommodated all of us so that was seriously awesome. it was 7 of us, so 4 of us went in first while the other 3 waited, and then we switched. While we waited we walked over to the farmers market and it was such a great day. The seven of us got there around 10am and left around 2:30 I think. Perfect perfect perfect. If you’re thinking about coming here, I can’t recommend it enough! Such wonderful people who gave such amazing tips to take care of ourselves and make us feel SO happy leaving. 10000/10!
My friends and I ( party of 3) went for a massage and facial to relax for birthday weekend. The services provided wasn’t terrible but not worth the pricing, how ever the rating is so low because the entire 2 hour service time booked all the staff dominated in conversation surrounding religious belief. Highly highly unprofessional and the exact opposite of relaxing, genuinely not a moment of silence within the 2 hours. Everything referenced back to religion and god, never once were we consulted on our comfort level in conversation topic. Everything in our personal life was demeaned and again referenced back to god. Was asked at the end of the session if they could pray over us. Very uncalled for. This is a spa not a church service. Nothing in any customer care should be so centered around personal belief. Once the owner was confronted with the discomfort she tried to project the blame and stare her staff needs a discussion about boundaries. She was a leader and spectator in conversation. Will not be returning
I had one of the most bizarre experiences of my life at Butter spa. I received a gift certificate so went in for a facial, and made the mistake of including on my paperwork that I have a chronic illness. The facialist then spent the entire time trying to convince me to come to her church, saying things like chronic illness is because of the sins of my ancestors, and that faith healing works better in Africa because people here believe too much in science. She did not pick up on any normal cues that I was uncomfortable, including my mentioning that I am Jewish, and saying several times that I was having a stressful day and was hoping for some quiet. The facial was not memorable but fine, it was very difficult to get them on the phone for an appointment. I gave the rest of my gift certificate to a friend, who did not receive a weird religious lecture but did have a hard time making her appointment as well.
Butter Day Spa !!!! Wow! Came in with my wife for a couples massage. So warm and comfortable. Mesusse was great, kind attentive, meticulous to pay attention to key spots that I was looking to get massaged.
