Vittorio’s

We visited Vittorios on a Tuesday evening. Lovely atmosphere, with family celebrations taking place and other groups of people. So despite being early on in the week, and not a weekend, it was still busy, demonstrating it is a firm favourite amongst customers. The staff were, I’m assuming family, and you could get that family run vibe whilst there, which added to the positive experience we had. Staff were attentive, whilst Also giving space and privacy to enjoy our food. Earlier the previous week, unbeknown to me my husband had spoken with Vittorios to arrange a ‘quiet area’ to sit down, so that he could propose to me to renew our wedding vows. We were placed in a quieter area, and my husbands request was managed discreetly without me catching on. Our wine was being brought to our table mid proposal and the young lad bringing it completed a 180 degree turn so fast to give us the space and privacy during the special moment. I couldn’t fault him for this and was impressed by the service we received. They congratulated us afterwards and gave us a complimentary celebratory dessert which was unexpected, but a really lovely touch. All food was hot, delicious and there were large portions. This restaurant is a local gem in Newport, and we are very grateful to have a created a treasured memory during our visit there. 10/10 service, food, and value for money. Wow.. I don’t know how to sum this place up in a paragraph! We booked on the day for a table that evening, when we walked in we were greeted by friendly and very accommodating staff and the beautiful Italian decor. The food was fresh, absolutely astoundingly delicious, hot and simply just incredible. We had the bread and olive oil to start, bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a side of delicious olives. For starters, I had the Supplí (arancini) and my husband had the king prawns. Mine was delicious with the risotto being moist with a generous amount of cheese in the middle! My husbands king prawns were cooked beautifully. For mains, I had the Ragu Di Bologna. The portion size was more than plenty and the taste was the best beyond compare. My husband had wild boar pasta which was also very delicious with a generous portion. The garlic bread was sooo garlicky and cheesy! We couldn’t eat any more to try the desserts but the espresso martini was the best we’ve ever had! This is going to be our new local for sure. Beautiful family restaurant

We recently dined at Vittorio’s, an Italian gem that exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by incredibly kind and friendly staff who made us feel special. The atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing, with warm lighting and elegant decor that perfectly complemented the authentic Italian experience. The food was simply delicious. Each dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and savory. The menu offered a delightful variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. Overall, Vittorio,s is a must-visit for anyone craving high-quality Italian cuisine in a welcoming and beautiful setting. I will definitely be returning soon! They got the best cheesecakes!🤗🥰
