Beam Dental Practice Review I had a deeply disappointing experience at Beam Dental Practice. Initially, I called around to several offices to confirm they accepted my insurance and were in-network. To my relief, they assured me they were, so I booked an appointment right away. I even canceled an appointment I had with another provider because I wanted to address the pain I was experiencing as soon as possible due to a failed root canal I had and my crown fell 11/27/2024 so I needed to do an extraction and even visited a second time to get all my other work done.. Looking back, I wish I had never made that decision. It turns out they knowingly misled me about being in-network—twice, fully aware that the dentist that saw me was not in network whatsoever. As a result, I ended up paying nearly $2,000 out of pocket, on top of what they took from my insurance. To make matters worse, they claimed my insurance wouldn’t cover my denture without even submitting it for verification, I called my insurance and I found out everything through them that they were completely out of network and that they’re not supposed to not tell me that something isn’t covered. What’s hilarious is that they called to tell me that now that they have to submit it to the insurance it would be higher than what I paid cash, so if the insurance didn’t cover it I would have to pay the difference…. Wow… how does that even make sense? Desperate to avoid being without a replacement after my extraction, I paid for this temporary tooth thinking I had no choice- but I did.. I just wasn’t offered the options. Unfortunately, they scanned my tooth before the extraction, leading to an ill-fitting temporary denture that was unusable and uncomfortable. The entire process felt rushed and mishandled. When I requested billing statements (twice!) on both visits they brushed me off and they promised to email them but never did. Something felt off. This practice seems more focused on squeezing every penny out of their clients than providing honest, quality care. While the service initially seemed professional, the lack of transparency and poor handling of my case left a bitter taste. Beware of this place—they might look good on the surface, but their practices are far from ethical. I truly want no more calls, no more excuses. If you did wrong- fix it and mail me a check or send it to my insurance. By the way if you get a tooth extracted most likely your insurance will cover the temporary tooth! But try to have them scan you once the extraction is done. :) I learned my lesson … ugh

I highly recommend this facility. They are very thorough with explanations and have check in points at every step while you’re in the process of checking your teeth. Clean and nice environment as well!
