Vintage Block Inn & Suites Okoboji

Interesting bed and breakfast, apparently converted from a fraternity house. Excellent location and great communication for arrival with touchpad codes. Breakfast provided was generous but the management ignored requests for an egg-free option. Rooms and baths felt dated, but were comfortable and everything worked. Comfortable bed and nice furniture. The rates were reasonable. Free parking provided off street. This is near ISU but we stayed during summer break just before students would return.

This was a great little find for us. We were on the third floor. The room was nice and clean. We slept comfortably. The breakfast was really nice with lots of things to choose from if you didn’t want the main breakfast served. it was a quiet place with lots of cool restaurants within a couple of miles.

My cousin and I had this house all to ourselves. It was so relaxing to hang out in the main living room after trudging around campus. I was glad my room had a fan as I usually have one on at home to get to sleep. My only caveat is that this place is highly perfumed. If you have a scent allergy it could be a deal breaker.
