I debated writing a review for fear of retaliation on top of how difficult it is to find a dermatologist in Toronto, but it needed to be said. My appointment with Dr. Sauder was great, and so were the receptionists at my arrival and the receptionist who arranged my appointment. I was initially referred for Eczema, and got that issue quickly addressed. However, we found a suspicious mole on my back during the appointment, and so we decided the day of to get it removed and tested just in case. I returned to the reception to wait to be called, and the nurse, even before me going to the room to get my mole removed, already had an attitude in the reception area. You can hear her sighing, see her rolling her eyes, and generally giving the vibe that she did not want to be there this morning. Unfortunately, this was the same nurse who was going to remove my mole, so she called me to the room. I had a few questions about the procedure as this was unplanned and spur of the moment. I generally like to research medical procedures before undergoing them, but obviously, I wasn't able to in this case, so I had questions. She made me feel stupid for even having questions and was generally giving an "I don't care" attitude. Next, after the procedure, I asked about follow ups and she mentioned they will be testing the mole and will call me if needed. This was fine, but I was asking what the testing was for, and she mentioned something like, "Well, wasn't this what your appointment was about?", and something else I couldn't quite remember. It was just a general vibe that *I* was stupid for asking questions about the procedure and for asking about next steps. Just for her to know, the mole was a last minute procedure so it wasn't what my appointment was about, so heck yeah I had questions! Bedside manner can be improved GREATLY. Also wanted to add that aftercare was barely discussed (and I stopped asking questions to clarify since you can physically feel that questions were unwelcome)

Excellent experience! I have been to the clinic twice now and found each experience to be very good. The reception staff is welcoming and very friendly, helpful and efficient. The wait was short. Dr. Yanofsky is very warm and personable, takes the time to listen to you - and actually remembered me after having seen me only once about a year and a half previous. Impressive! She quickly assessed my concern and immediately took care of it - all to my great satisfaction. I felt heard, respected and cared for. I felt that I was dealing with a doctor who takes the time with her patients and actually cares about people. I will absolutely return without hesitation and highly recommend this clinic.

Super friendly reception from all the staff. They were very aware of the wait and apologized profusely. The doctor was great and was quite skilled and gentle in his treatment for my condition.

Today, July 28, 2025, I had stitches removed in two areas. My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM. Although the nurse I was originally booked with was ill, I was seen on time by Nurse Elena. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the care I received. Despite what was clearly a busy morning for her, Nurse Elena treated me with attentiveness and professionalism. She answered all my questions patiently, provided detailed recommendations, and explained everything clearly. The stitches were removed so gently that I didn’t feel a thing. At the end of the appointment, Elena even offered a candy to my daughter, who had come along to support me — such a small gesture, but it meant a lot to us. I was truly touched by the kindness and care shown to our family. Thank you for the important and compassionate work you do every day. Warm regards, Eduard
